hosting a night in

i'm getting together this Friday night to catch up with friends and raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support. if you haven't heard Macmillan have been encouraging women to host their own night in and get friends to donate the money they would spend on a night out to their charity.
i've been wanting to have a small get together ever since i moved out and what better way to do it?! as the night draws nearer i've been scrolling the depths of Pinterest to find inspiration and ideas for my night like a true enthusiastic host. if you've ever thought of having your own girls night in, here are some of my favourite ideas that i've come across:

you can find all these and more ideas on my pinterest board, have a look for some inspiration.

i'm hoping to make these nights in a more regular thing in my living room, it becomes a bad habit cancelling or re-arranging overdue meet ups with friends so perhaps a good night in every couple of months will get people back on track.

if you're interested take a look at the Macmillan Night In page, it's not too late to host your own!
