when renting a property, it's hard to put your own stamp on things, you can't paint the walls, there are consequences for hanging pictures with nails and you'r always conscious of keeping it as clean as possible. it's hard to feel like your 'home' has been lived in. well we've given ourselves a few little projects, a few furniture facelifts and a couple of homely touches to make this place really feel like our family home. plants will always add colour and make a place feel lived in and luckily there are no damage hanging methods which have allowed us to hang a few pictures here and there. it's starting to feel like this flat is our family home.
