one of my moto's in life is 'just do what makes you happy' - it helps me simplify any complicated problems i may face and allows me to re-evaluate the situation in front of me. sometimes it's hard to remember what really makes you happy when you find yourself long down a path you're not even sure is leading you to where you want to be. instead of looking far into the future to worryland, i've found a simple way to keep me on track. it came to me last night when i asked M how his day had been, i asked him to rate it on a scale of 1-10, then i realised this was a great way to make sure i put mine and my family's happiness first. it's so easy for me to get wrapped up in whatever i might have on my plate but by just asking myself in such a black and white way, i can figure out what makes me happy so i can improve the time i spend with my boys, making sure they're happy too, as well as making the most out of each and every day. on that note,
how happy are you today?
